A selfless Welsh teenager, given just months to live, is using his remaining time to fundraise for a little boy from the same town who also has cancer in the hope he might beat the disease.
Rhys Langford, 19, who has bone cancer, started raising money for six-year-old Jacob Jones after being told his own condition was terminal.
Selfless terminally-ill teen Jacob Jones donates his life savings to help six-year-old beat cancer…

I worked with both families and shared the appeal in the regional & national press. After media support the appeal smashed it’s original target of £10k and has now raised nearly £60,000.

The appeal was featured in The Mirror. Metro, LADbible and over 10 other titles including Wales Online and South Wales Echo.

Rhys has now been nominated for a posthumous Unsung Hero award. The Sun’s Who Cares Wins Awards, in partnership with NHS Charities Together, celebrate healthcare heroes from the frontline NHS staff to the ordinary people who go above and beyond.
