PC Keith Palmer’s JustGiving campaign was created by the Metropolitan Police Federation for the family of PC Keith Palmer, the Police Officer who tragically gave his life on 22 March as he guarded the Palace of Westminster from a terrorist attack.
I managed the proactive placement of the memorial campaign for PC Palmer across the national media and liaised with the Metropolitan Police Press Office and the in-house JustGiving team.

Key Results:

PC Palmer’s appeal became the biggest personal JustGiving campaign in the site’s history at the time, raising over £736,000

It raised £48,000 in one hour which is the equivalent of £800 per minute, or £13 per second

It generated over 200+ pieces of positive print & online coverage

Key coverage secured included: the Guardian, Metro, Sky News, BBC, The Telegraph, the Independent & The Sun

The campaign also received blanket broadcast coverage after it was syndicated across the BBC
