A memorial appeal launched to bring the astrophysicist ‘Chicken King’ Christopher Duffield back home to the UK after the British teacher was tragically found dead in his flat in China.
I worked closely with Chris’s best friend who had set the appeal to help repatriate Chris’s body to the UK and brought in VIP support. I issued an official release (approved by the family) and secured coverage in multiple national titles including the Sun, Metro, Mirror, WalesOnline and the story was also picked up by the Press Association. After PR support the family managed to reach the page target and were very touched by all the messages on their page.
