A successful businesswoman who was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition that meant she could be ‘internally decapitated’ at any time. Mum-of-two Karen Scott was diagnosed with craniocervical instability in January 2019. Ever since, the married 51-year-old has been living on edge and is unable to leave the house without a neck brace or wheelchair.
I discovered the appeal trending online and reached out to Karen. I worked with Caters to secure multiple hits on the national online health pages and doubled the appeal’s funds. The campaign was discovered at £20k and after pitched we saw a GDV list of £77k.
