AN IMPORTANT appeal for an a desperately ill dad-of-two who had to leave his home and move into a caravan after falling into debt waiting for Universal Credit.

Martin Weaver, 42, has a hereditary kidney condition and was forced to leave his job in June 2018 after he suffered a heart attack due to the strain caused by dialysis.

I worked closely with Martin (a former hotel manager) setting up a number of national press interviews to raise awareness of his plight. Fortunately since the campaign went in the media his local council have put Martin in a local hotel and offered to rehouse him.

The dad of two who was forced to moved into a caravan because of Universal Credit…

Key Results:

Six national articles secured including: The Sun and the Scottish Sun, The Daily Mirror, the Daily Record and the iPaper

Hopefully Martin is now being re-housed by his local council

Feedback

“If it hadn’t of been for GoFundMe I might not be here today…It was minus six degrees and that caravan was freezing. Thank you so much for your help. I don’t know what I would have done without GoFundMe.”
