A HEARTFELT GoFundMe Appeal by a young British couple who rescued a neglected puppy in the Philippines.
Chloe Henley and Alex Jewkes, from Great Yarmouth, were on holiday when they spotted Peso the puppy living in a rubbish pile next to a construction site, tied to a post by 4ft of rope. Chloe said: ‘He was staving and exhausted and was only fed one snail at 12 o’clock every day. When we rescued him he walked 10 steps and then collapsed.”
Chloe and Alex set up the GFM page to raise enough funds to pay for Peso’s veterinary bills and hope to bring him back to the UK to live with them. I liaised with the couple to help generate maximum exposure for the campaign and set up a number of interviews. The couple were delighted with our support and hit their target.
