A heart-rending fundraising appeal for a toddler who died tragically after an inflatable trampoline exploded on Gorleston beach in Norfolk reached over £12,000.

Tragically, three-year-old Ava-May Littleboy, from Somersham in Suffolk, died on the morning of Sunday July 1 from her injuries.

To honour her memory, the family set up a crowdfunding page to raise money to erect a memorial park bench in her name.

Ava-May’s grandmother Angela Littleboy said: “To all that have donated for this cause, we don’t know all of you but we are overwhelmed by your love and thoughts.”

An extremely sensitive appeal, I handled all the media enquiries and liaised with the family following the tragedy.
